Last week I asked you guys if you want to hear about my MAGCON experience so here it is.
Hope you guys enjoy stay tuned till the end because I may have some news.
Me and my friends ,Rebecca ,Molly ,Caoimhe, Aisling and then Molly and Rebecca's dads went.
So we had to be there at 2 pm to queue since we had priority tickets, we were suppose to get in at 4 pm.
The queues: There was 3 queue one at the front of the building for the normal tickets ,then by the side of the building there was 2 queue for either priority or VIP witch was ended up behind the corner (say tuned for tips at the end too.)As we were queueing the camera people walked around with their cameras to take video and photos for their website and social media sites, they also used a drone to take photos too.We ended up queue ing until 5:30.
When you go in: When you go into the room their is loads of smoke but you do get used to it.Theirs seating above you and behind you for parents and people with family tickets NOT VIP TICKETS while the children go off into the standing area .Your waiting for a while until Bart (the creator of MAGCON) comes out and makes all the children say thank you to their parents for bringing them.
How they enter: Music plays ,balloons fall they come out with loads of excitement and jumping around, singing, dancing and saying hello to your county. Then Colby James (the persons how on stage for most the time) does a little competition with the crowd and the dj Christian delgrosso to where they make them say MAGCON very loud.Then they explain how MAGCON works (I'll get to that in a minute.) Next the boys take turns to go on the stage but I do warn you hunter, Brandon, Blake aren't really on stage a lot it's mostly the other boys take turns but they come on in different parts when they all come on the stage.Theres also another competition for the friend to win VIP Tickets for free and a chance to go on stage too ,a dance competition too but you don't win tickets :(
My experience: I love it so much. Me and my friends are a lot smaller since the age group is quite high from maybe 14-20 and we are only 12 so you could imagine we were getting pushed back a lot , but we managed to get the the front in the end. Your not allowed to bring water into the concert that you brought from home but they do have free massive plastic glasses of water at the bar. Please drink it because you get boiling.The security Guards are amazing they give out to people for pushing which there is a awful lot of + if you get super hot they give you a glass of water or bottle, you just have to ask!And if you faint or look like your a out to you they will pull you and your company out and help you.I danced my heart out , it's the best thing to do ,don't care about what the other people say , even your friends because if your having the time of your life don't stop! I got so hot I felt like I couldn't breath , I couldn't hear any of my friends trying to calm me down I actually ended up capsizing in my friend's dads arm's.I had to sit outside for some air, But that was only me, don't not go because of that little thing that happened to me. The support acts came on last which was so emotional because we all new it was the end of MAGCON , then all the boys cam out and I think everyone cried 😠There is merchandise from all the guys at the shop which is quite expensive just like everywhere else but it's well work it . I went to the Ireland one since I live here it's was amazing , I recommend it to everyone who has the chance to go. It lasts a long time since you get there at 2 ish the show starts at 6:30 and ends at 10:30 pm. Even the parents loved it.
How to VIP tickets work: so during the show the boys will make everyone look at their VIP paper bracelets they were given at the door which has a letter like A,B,C and they call it out so then you go.... So basically the meet and greet is during the show so that why some guys don't come on as much as others . I know some mothers were annoyed because they thought since they paid extra they got better seating too which they didn't so just keep that in mind.
My tips:
. Drink a lot of water
. Mind your phone , because one girl lost hers.
. Be ready for pushing and people just being rude.
. Don't let people say "oh I just need to get to my dad,mom,sister,friend because most of the time they are lying just so they can get to the front.
. If you want to be albe to move and go to the front don't bring a big poster .... Or maybe a poster in general because they are a pain in the bum.
. Wear comfy shoes.
. Get ready for sore ankles after because all you do it jump.I remember walking to my car feeling like I wore high hells for about 100 years.
